Lauren began her musical theatre career at the age of six, when a school music teacher advised her to audition for a regional production of Annie. Though originally deemed too young for the production, her persistent nature convinced producers to hear her rendition of “Tomorrow”, earning her both the role of “Molly” and a passion for performing.
To date, some of Lauren's favorite roles include Anne in My Heart in a Suitcase (National Tour), Kate in The Wild Party, Hodel in Fiddler on the Roof, Sandy in Grease, Chris in Carrie: The Musical, and Margot Frank in The Diary of Anne Frank (BroadwayWorld Award Nominee for "Best Supporting Actress"). Most recently, she appeared in Nicely Theatre Group's production of The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee as Logainne Schwartzandgrubenierre.
Lauren holds a B.A. from Kalamazoo College, where she double majored in Theatre and Psychology and minored in Music. During her time in Kalamazoo, she received the the Lillian Pringle Baldauf Award in Music (twice!), the Irmgard Kowatzki Theatre Award, and the Enlightened Leadership Award for Creative Expression in Music. While at the College, she performed multiple times with the Festival Playhouse of Kalamazoo ; her portrayals of Daphna in Bad Jews and Juliet in Good Night Desdemona (Good Morning Juliet) earned her nominations for the Irene Ryan Scholarship Competition at Region III of the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival.
Additionally, she has trained at the Stella Adler Studio of Acting, the Stratford Shakespeare School, and Interlochen Center for the Arts.
In the summer of 2022, Lauren will make her New York stage debut as Rosaline in Love's Labor's Lost with Theatre 315. She could not be more excited for this upcoming adventure!
